Linda Fleischman   lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, where she explores all visual media such as drawings, paintings, sculptures, pottery as well as wildlife & world photography. 

Linda “paints from life” capturing & documenting her relationship with the environment at a moment in time.  Each of Linda’s en plein aire paintings  or “open air paintings” tells its own story.  Each painting is painted on site at a specific location with a specific time.  Each painting is a one of a kind original oil painting.  Linda’s paintings represent a documentation of our natural environment painted in Florida’s most precious nature preserves & ecosystems, national & state parks, wildlife refuges as well as the coastline. Additionally, many paintings were painted in Utah, Colorado & New Mexico as well as Italy & France.   Linda participates in the following Plein Air Festivals:   Plein Air Palm Beach Funfest, Red Rocks Art Festival in Moab, Utah & Steamboat Art Museum Plein Air Festival in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  Linda is a member of the Florida Sculptors Guild, Vero Beach Art Club & National Sculpture Society.

 

Linda endorses the global preservation of environmental issues.  Percentage of sales of plein air painting will go towards fundraising for the preservation of our natural environments for special habitats & ecosystems through the Audubon Society, Sierra Club &

World Wildlife Fund.   Percentage of sales of sculpture & portrait/figurative oil paintings will go towards fundraising for Breast Cancer research, education & treatment through the Susan G Komen Foundation.
